I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) which means that I have a Master's Degree in Social Work and have completed the highest level of licensure for social workers in the state of Massachusetts. I am an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist with a specialty working with LGBTQ+ clients. I has worked in this field since 2004 and have focused primarily on issues related to adoption, autism spectrum disorder, and sexuality. Though I frequently practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy, I adapt my clinical approach to the unique challenges of the individual. I am highly influenced by my understanding of strength-based practices, family systems theories, and attachment theories. I utilize the Gottman approach (Level 2 Gottman certified). I am passionate about supporting marginalized and alternative family structures.
